I’m Gila Babich, a designer, woodworker and owner of the Tel Aviv-based studio frill furniture. After a decade of working as a news editor, I signed up for professional woodworking studies and opened my studio in 2018. 

I love the physicality of the craft, of breaking down giant boards of lumber into small, delicate pieces and putting them together into something entirely different.

I strive to create interesting objects for uplifting spaces.
